Stepping Through The Door...

Well, I've had an account here for over a year, but I've never really been quite ready to start my blog. Now, I've got the time, and the drive, to make it what I envisioned from the start!


This blog will have many faces...

First, I am a craftier and artisan. I make jewelry, crochet, and I hand paint signs and store front windows. I like to make stuff with my hands.

That being said, the primary focus of this blog will be featuring of crafts, art, and special items that I come across on the web. Some will be from people that I've never met, and others will be from family and friends.
I also sell many of my items in my online gift shop at MajorTommy.artfire.com, and I will occasionally feature one of my favorite items.
I'll try not to make it "spammy", but if you feel it is getting that way, please let me know! I'd rather slow it down, then to lose readers.

If you have, or know of something/someone that would deserve a review, feel free to send me a note! I have specific tastes in what I like, so I don't guarantee a feature, but yours might be just the thing that I've been looking for!


Second, I love music! Mostly Classic Rock, New Age, and a bit of just about every other type of music out there. Occasionally, there will be something music oriented. I'm not sure how, but music will be included here, in some form.


Third, I have many other interests, and I do like the unusual!

Please keep me posted of the strange, unique, and unusual, that you come across.
Nothing too freaky, though, let's keep it at a PG13 rating, for my nephews and nieces! :)
